Lawsuit filed: San Antonio cable installer was wrongfully classified as an independent contractor to avoid payment of overtime

On March 18, 2014, the labor lawyers at Dunham & Jones, P.C. filed suit in Federal Court in the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division against Global Optics San Antonio LP on behalf of former employee Jacob Pedraza, alleging both minimum wage and overtime violations.

Global Optics also wrongfully classified Mr. Pedraza as an independent contractor. Lawsuit filed: Target Oilfield Services sued by current and former employees for unpaid overtime

On February 28, 2014, a Federal Lawsuit was filed against Target Oilfield Services, LLC, on behalf of Ruben Cuellar and eleven other employees and former employees. Job titles for these employees include office worker, field hand, yard man, dispatcher and lead man.
