Jeffrey R. Casey

Mr. Jeffrey R. Casey has been a practicing attorney since 1986. He learned how to try complicated cases as the designated white collar crimes prosecutor the Brazos County District Attorney’s office. After many trials in District Courts, and appellate arguments in front of the First, Tenth, and Fourteenth Courts of Appeal, Mr. Casey was asked to join the staff at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals in Austin. In that role, he honed his legal research and writing skills participating with the judges on written opinions of the Court.
Following his time with the Court, Mr. Casey began representing people in the Central Texas area. After 13 years of successfully helping people with their legal issues, Mr. Casey was invited to join the Attorney General’s Office for the State of Florida to further hone his appellate skills.
After four years of successful appellate practice, Mr. Casey longed to return home to Austin and to rejoin Dunham & Jones in their growing employment law practice. In addition to being licensed by the Supreme Courts of Texas and Florida, Mr. Casey is licensed to practice in Federal Court in the Eastern District of Texas, the Middle District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
