Lawsuit filed: Houston Dispatcher claims unpaid overtime

On November 8, 2013, the attorneys at Dunham & Jones P.C. filed suit in Federal Court in Houston against ServComm Serices, LLC and James Wilson on behalf of former dispatcher Shaunta Simon, alleging overtime violations.

Ms. Simon filed suit under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) for all unpaid overtime hours worked within the three-year period prior to the filing of the suit.

Ms. Simon, who worked in Houston, Texas, worked more than forty hours per week, but alleges that she was told she wasn’t entitled to overtime because she was a dispatcher.
