Lawsuit filed: Former cabinet installer sues Cornerstone Builder Supply for minimum wage and overtime violations

On February 7, 2014, the employment lawyers at Dunham & Jones, P.C. filed suit in Federal Court in the Western District of Texas, Austin Division against Cornerstone Builder Supply, L.L.C. and Robert Davis on behalf of former employee Jorge Gallegos, alleging both minimum wage and overtime violations.

Mr. Gallegos, whose primary duty was to install cabinets in customers’ homes, filed suit under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) alleging that he frequently worked more than 40 hours per week, but was never paid time and one half for these hours.
